Designed and Manufactured since the mid-1970's, the Leopard S1 was the first main battle tank of the Republic of Slonia Army, replacing their outdated M4 Shermans and M26 Pershings. It is based off the german Leopard 1. The S designation stands for "Slonian". It has been replaced by the Leopard S2 in the MBT role and is now serving as a fire support vehicle until it is fully phased out by the army, in favor of a more modern fire support vehicle similar to the stryker MGS.
The Leopard S1A3 variant is an upgraded version of the S1A2, which is based on the Leopard 1A5 Variant. Upgrades include more modern weapons systems, added armor and a better engine. All S1's in service are upgraded to the A3 Standard.
(MG64-A3V works on the turret mount.)

Random question but do the Slonians use Centurion tanks?
Nope, they prefer the german designs, hence the leopard tanks.
Understandable, I can see why they would, as I’ve heard the Centurion wasn’t always reliable
