Designed and Manufactured since the early 1990's, the Leopard S2 is the second main battle tank of the Slonian military. It is based off the german Leopard 2. It replaced the S1 in the MBT Role and is now the current MBT of the Slonian Army.
The S2A1 variant is the second main production variant, having minor modifications to both the engine, transmission and firing system. It is based on the Leopard 2A4. All S2's are upgraded or being upgraded to the A1 standard.
An S2A2 Variant is in the making, planning to have better armor, better heating, firing and laser warning system, better engine and better transmission.
(MG64-A3V works on the turret mount.)
