Samuel was once a fighter of the resistance against the Scorpians, but he was deemed K.I.A after an important, decisive battle. He was 32 by the time of his death and still is after resurrection.

His death was expected as he was considered cannon fodder along with other poor souls who were sent unprepared to the Battle of the Node Square. Samuel was hit with shrapnel from a nearby explosion and bled out due to the sheer amount of chaos, which left him and other wounded soldiers unnoticed.

After his death, Samuel was resurrected by an unknown entity, with the promise he could keep roaming the Earth for as long he kept a steady body count every month, due to this, Samuel continued his fight against the Scorpians to not only aid with the resistance but to also accomplish his endless quota.

Samuel is absolutely trigger-happy and with an uncanny expertise with many different types of weapons, he can clear a room full of enemies with relative ease given the right conditions.
