His real name is Marvin Milk, “Mother’s Milk” is a nickname that originates from the comics where he was breastfed by his mother who had Compound V (the injection that gives superpowers) in her milk, giving her children powers.

Fun fact
In the comics hughies likeness was based off Simon pegg, but when it came round to making a live action The Boys Simon aged too much to play the character, so he played Hughies dad instead 🙂
