Barry Allen aka the Unbound Flash comes from a parallel timeline much like the main continuity but there is a difference with this Barry.

On the Earth designated “Earth 100” Barry failed to save the Justice League from an attack by Savitar the self proclaimed “God of Speed” and it sends him into a downward spiral as he becomes a corrupted hero, and stops pulling his punches which leads to the death of his world’s Captain Cold, eventually he’s confronted by Wally West aka Kid Flash who tries to stop him but Barry says he must atone for his sins and runs into the Speed Force, never to return…
