This is the hangman, the physical form of grief. His sadness has been growing increasingly faster and faster due to his common use in the game, hangman. He has been the one suffocated hundreds and hundreds of times in the game. And he is seeking for revenge.
How the hangman will kill you
The hangman will first, of course chase you. he will knock you out using the wooden stand he holds.
then he will drown you, representing his sadness. Then he sets up a rope and his stand then hangs you on it. And then he would cry, and cry. Once he is done he will craft a new stand and then start hunting another person who has played hangman.
