Worthless consumer models!

Okay so basically, Mario and Wario knew eachother when they were younger, and were rivals due to Wario being jealous of the Mario Bros. success. Then one day years later Wario just decided to take over Mario’s castle (Yes that exists), while Mario was off saving Daisy from Tatanga. Mario came back and kicked Wario’s ass, and they’ve been permanent rivals ever since. (Also, yes, this is 100% official Nintendo Canon.)

Oh, and Waluigi just showed up at a tennis game one day and know he’s Luigi’s rival.
