and for this, and thanks for advice from him
Anim is looking really cool But the sentences in animation are difficult to read cause passes so fast. You should extend the transition time of them. Also your scenes can be better if you make movements smoother. Still cool anim tho (no offense these are just friendly advices) π
good music and sounds and all, you got the cinematics in place, but that is both helping and hurting you as it’s making it slllloooowww
first minute is a wall of text, you’re gonna lose a lot of viewers with that, nobody ain’t don’t want to read, especially the Youtube crowd
if you must display a lot of text, it must be done in a visually appealing way, cut in sections, with lots of eye candy, animation, panning, etc – visual storytelling
then after the text, the cinematic shots kick in, but again – its so slow
if you ever notice, with movies and even some TV show episodes – the first episode kicks off almost always with action, immediately
to grab the users attention
THEN, get into the slow lore-building stuff
also in general, your animation style is a bit simplistic, you’re kinda relying on tweening to go from pose-to-pose and you’re kinda not animating the actual “movements” themselves
the walk during the 1:40 area – you’re kinda just moving the leg and arm back and forth and sliding him across the stage, you gotta clean that up and make it more 1) animated and 2) look more like a solid walk rather than a slide/pan
so yeah
lots of points here but things to improve upon and your vid quality/audience will increase
not only because i going to do a lot of dojo duels since this is first chapter.
