Update regarding my $1K laptop being broken within a year of use
So my father is kind of good at fixing shit. But this time, he can’t use his toshiba usb drive for some reason and i have no idea why kek
So yea, it’s getting sent to HP.
A weird thing, he said “no big deal,” as if it was literally a tiny error that is fixable.

broke how
like it won’t turn on or the screen is black
Won’t turn on
I probably somehow wiped the drive

The tiny error might be from the low powered battery or corrupted USB.
It’s not.
I plugged it in for an hour and nothing
Plus I don’t have any usb keyboard nor mouse plugged in 90% of the time.
So the laptop just decided to commit suicide.
Sorry to hear that, how did it break, was it physical or is there just an issue with something like battery?
Chiming in here, it just randomly stopped turning on out of nowhere. It was working fine before. Maybe it was overheated or something.
It might have been left on for too long, that happened to me before and it had to be factory reset, I didn’t have much there though so it was fine.
There was no physical damage.
