[ PART 1 OF 2 OF THE BARCHONDIAN FALL ]
The great, the almighty, and the fallen Barchondians.
1 million years ago lived an incredibly powerful and super advanced race of aliens far, far away from our solar system. These people were a part of multi-planet empires and had hundreds of offworld mining sites and the most advanced military ever known. Those who witnessed them did so with both fear and ah as their species was so far ahead of anything at the time and their military and weaponry was unmatched by anything at the time. The Barchondians were described as being “spider-like”, sporting 4 legs extending from their pelvis as well as 4 long arms extending from the shoulders. They were very into magic and ritualistic acts, even going as far as to using the souls of the deceased as powerful weapons against their enemies…..but those were weapons of an ancient time. Upon their first interaction with the Giten, they had no idea what it was or how to handle it, so it immediately got the jump on them, even as a single mind it was able to wreak hell upon them. While they were learning how this creature worked and how to combat it, it began to ravage their homeworld, within the first few months billions fell to the quickly growing monster, people kept trying to fight it off but to little avail and would quickly be overtaken and ‘purified’. They figured out that fire worked, being as it destroyed things on the cellular level, but what was lost was only quickly regrown and even doubled. It was a constantly regenerating and quickly growing behemoth that showed 0 mercy or signs of stopping, even using possession to shut down the military from the inside. People were turned on eachother, people were turned against the Giten, and all the while nobody knew what was going to happen, the future was looking grim as more bodies were added to the pile every day.
That was until eventually hope shone upon the troubled race, using ancient soul weaponry against the beast yielded unpredicted results. Even coming in contact with these artifacts disintegrated the Giten, causing it to erupt in green flames and burn into nothing. Soul-based weapons showed very promising results, it did far more damage faster than any of their other weapons did. The only thing that killed the Giten was death, they learned, and in order to power these weapons it required them to lose more of their people. After the span of a year, the entire population on their homeworld dropped to a mere 200K people, and with such a big ambition in mind it might cost them all that they have left, they wanted to build a single soul-powered weapon that has such a radius of effect that it can destroy all of the Giten surrounding something as big as their sun. However all that the Barchondians had were the artifacts of these weapons and not the machines used to create these, these machines were destroyed long ago as their society shifted away from these forms of weaponry.
All the while this was happening, those who fled offworld accidentally spread the Giten with them, getting themselves and many others killed quickly as well as helping the spread.
The ones combatting it needed help from an old species of aliens they hadn’t seen in awhile to make their plan happen. If all went well, they would kill the Giten early in its infection process and after many generations repopulate….but that would take a miracle. One they didn’t have.[Stay tuned for part 2]

Anyways yeah sorry for the post being so long but it would’ve been longer if I didn’t decided to split it into 2 parts. Part 2 should be shorter if not roughly the same length.
Btw @giganshowaera and @beginninganimator come get y’all your second helping of stupid lore for the day
So this is what it feels like when people read my text walls.
Yes
Also I read like 75% of them, they’re all really good
Thanks, i have to do alot of thinking to make things that happen in computers make sense with the internet universe since the internet universe is literally the internet and a computer imagined as a universe.
Also, did you come up with the lore for these posts?
1) good luck with that but you could take the lazy route and say it was all simulated in Blender or something like that
2) Yes, the Giten is an original creation by me
Oh wow, your pretty good at making stories.
A difference between my lore and your lore is you focus more on civilizations and space titans and i focus rather more on space itself.
Also i wouldn’t dare take the lazy route >:((
I make sure every post is as detailed as it can be without it starting to become incomprehensible. This is because eventually, the project will have to end. So if anyone ends up reading it or doing something with it, i want them to know what to work with.
Done as well
