[An interview with the Godmind done through speakers and microphones over a 300ft distance for safety]
“First question: What are you?”
“You already know the answer to that.”
“The ‘Godmind’?”
“That is one of our names, yes.”
“Why are you here? What are your motives with our world?”
“It is much the same with all other worlds. It is just another small fraction of our goal.”
“A goal? What is your goal and why is our world involved in it?”
“We fix the damage bestowed upon this universe one small step at a time. We cleanse the grime and in our wake leave nothing but a new opportunity. An opportunity for a better universe. Your world just so happens to be involved in it.”
“Fixing? You poison our land and kill our people, you grow like an infection. How is that fixing anything?”
“All life in this universe is inherently evil. You live in an imbalance, evil reigns supreme amongst all other forces. Selfish actions and greed drives mankind further into their own grave. Protectors turn on the weak, governments turn against the people and feed off them like a parasite, and those in power lose their humanity to their greed. Saving a life isn’t free. Helping someone in need isn’t free. You and many other creatures live in a world where those more powerful than you will find a way to profit off those beneath them to fuel their selfish desires. We fix this.”
“….by killing them?”
“By reforming them. What we take in, we fix. All of those people are very much alive within us, they are purified.”
“Question 2: Where do you come from?”
“We are a perfect mixture of good and evil. We are not your friend or your enemy, we are not good or bad. We restore the balance that this universe so desperately needs and we do so with force. We are judgmental and unbiased, we do not follow any beliefs other than our own true words. When the universe was created, it used up equal parts good and bad, expelling the excess. We are the excess, the unused good and the unused evil.”
