I think they look better, easier to notice.
The addition of making gold and iron drop raw extracts of themselves to smelt I think is really cool.
Not sure if Fortune affects the raw drops, I’d imagine so.
Fun fact: they changed them for colorblind people, so they can tell the difference

And fortune does now affect the raw drops. That’s why they drop the raw ore now

Even tho I’m used to getting the ore blocks since quite some times , I must admit that it’s a very nice addition
U can still get them with silk touch, but I feel like that’s kinda useless now
I think that was the point of the raw ores
I mean diamond kept its texture

That is NOT what mine look like. You use java? because java textures might be different from what I have.
