I’ve decided to update my old ‘How to conserve nodes tutorial’ video, it’s pretty lacklustre and with the addition of curved nodes and what I’ve learnt since then I thought it would be good to re-visit it.

Just finished writing the rough notes for the video along with each method.

    • I plan to reduce the intro part because no young teenager (most SN users age range out there) will listen to that stuff plus it’s kind of just rambling on.

The method though will probably stay the same by estimate.

      We’ve got 5 methods:

      1. Covering space (using the right shapes for the right areas to fill)

      2. Usage of ‘Sharp’ and ‘Curved’ shapes (Triangles, segments etc and ellipses, circles for there respective areas to be filled)

      3. Polyfill usage (Well, using polyfills correctly lol, not much more to it, I’m sure you understand)

      4. Colour co-ordination (Using colours to hide any weird shapes and fill in space without creating new nodes of different or the same colour to cover an area, hopefully that made sense, it will in the video don’t worry)

      5. Layering (Hard to explain, essentially just move X node behind Y node to make it look good)

Short and sweet tends to be the way about it.

I intend to keep it as short as I can but not to the point where one would consider it a ‘short’ or ‘shorts’.
