seeing a galaxy half a billion light years away? easy mode

seeing the flag on the moon, the closest thing in outer space to us? impossible

    • But besides the jokes, we can’t see the flag on the moon because of how drastically smaller it is compared to the moon. Although it is possible, its very hard. The shadow of the flag can be seen but the image of the overall flag is pretty much impossible. It didn’t decay completely luckily. Galaxies are enormously-large objects that can be seen from billions of light years away with enough exposure.

The flag on the moon is simply nothing more than a speck.

        Pathetic.
