In my opinion there isn’t always a step-by-step process and different people will find the motivation in different ways.
The underlying issue is mindset but various intricate details can affect this ultimately meaning whatever you do in your day-to-day life can affect your motivation levels.
The best way to have motivation and stop procrastination comes down to three things:
1. Making the right choices and being reasonable with it – This just means rather than staying up super late doing nothing really and waking up late, wake up earlier and aim to sleep a bit earlier or if you do stay up late try and do something productive even if it is miniscule.
2. Exposing yourself to things you don’t necessarily enjoy – if you work a full day’s worth of work ( around 6 hours ) then when you get home you’ll appreciate it more. Having contrast in what you do is important. Even exercising can help this, it isn’t always fun but once finished you’ll feel better and you don’t have to work 6 hours, just 30 minutes to an hour is sufficient.
3. Having the right goals and surrounding yourself with the right things – spending time around people who are lazy and welcome it and others who have a dull uninteresting take to how life should be will rub off on you lowering your standard of living so being able to take the time away or just keeping the right things in mind will help. As for having the right goals, it just means to not task yourself with too much in a set timespan, consider whether you can that day and if it’s worth it or not.
That’s the neat thing
You don’t

you grab the revolver and hold it to your head and shoot, raising the tension every time you pull the trigger.
Eventually stopping you procrastinating because:
A) You acknowledge why you shouldn’t do it
B) You’re dead
