drip catMelo-D, standing for Mellow Division. He’s my second avatar, next to Mellow, and probably the one that better represents me.
But Mellow is too cool to just get rid of (+ he’s my kid and that’s a shitty way to treat one), so I figured that I should have 2 of the buggers coexist, because that’s fun

Melo-D was loosely based off of my current roblox avatar, and I figured that it’d be fun bringing him to life
I had a genuine crisis figuring out how I’d use Mellow and Melo-D when both work just fine as my avatars, but after like 8 hours of sleep I figured out that 2 is better than 1
Mellow will probably be used more often in SN related stuff, since he’s who I’m known for
Melo-D works for stuff outside of SN, since he’s more of a general guy

For something that is moreorless a main OC change I’d say you should give it some time before conclusively saying which one is best to represent you.
In all fairness as well not many of us can say we are like our OCs, for some they can essentially down to each and every little piece but like I said, in most cases OCs are just a rough representation.
It’s still your choice of course so just do what you think is best, either way the more we see Melo-D pop up and embraced the more we’ll adjust to it being definitely you, generally speaking.
Yeah, I should definitely take it slow and think things out for a bit first, and he’s a very new character too so I shouldn’t jump the gun so quickly either. Mellow himself isn’t exactly the most accurate representation of me, but OCs usually don’t have to as that’d be boring.
People don’t make accurate self-inserts their main OCs in general, because what could be less exciting than a story based entirely around someone who’s essentially just you?
In that case, I shouldn’t think about this with the view on who best represents me, but with the outlook on who I generally just prefer
