Okay, so let’s put it this way.
Let’s say I make a theory where, say, Gordon Freeman is actually Eli Vance’s long lost cousin. I make a bunch of reaches, and make the worst “evidence” to back up my claim. Then I say “but it’s just a theory”.
Does it make the theory any better? No, it’s still a stupid theory. So just because you give it the theory title doesn’t excuse it from criticism, or just being plain wrong.
