a month ago, my mom grounded me from my personal laptop and said i couldn’t play it for the rest of the month.
this is because i got detention for being tardy to class (my school has tardy passes that negate tardiness but my dumbass teacher counted me tardy anyway)
“understandable, i’ll just ask for it back at the end of the month”, i thought.
only for her to not give it back because she didn’t think i went to sleep on the night of March 31. i didn’t ask for it on April 1 because my school had an event that i had to go to.
parents fucking suck. :facepalm:
edit: (also, she had no proof that i didn’t go to sleep at all. i did go to sleep that night. her reasoning was because i didn’t know what time i went to sleep.)

Also maybe she was in a bad mood that day or was going through something when she said you didn’t go to sleep. Ya never know just like how she doesn’t know you actually went to sleep.

Serious Note: Can relate to this, My Mother assumes THE WORST when something is even slightly wrong and will make sure we do it EXACTLY as she says and If that doesn’t happen, BOOM! In the slammer you go.
Best Advice: Never get riled up about It, Let things go and go with the flow. It has helped me a lot to get over what are now just minor inconveniences.
