    @cheesebiscuit

    There’s alot more you can do with this piece of art, and I don’t want you to miss out on it.

    So I made this as an example.

    Ignore the gross post-processing on the comet I somewhat rushed this

        thereโ€™s one main thing here and itโ€™s exaggerating the amount of light emission and deprivation
        the shadows are MUCH darker than the original, while the highlights are much brighter

        Making everything dark besides the top brightest objects in the scene puts lots of emphasis on how bright something is

        Lol no need

        I can fill you in on what I did, I don’t have access to the actual project so most of everything is drawn.

        Just make stuff a lot deeper and vibrant in color and contrast, make lighting accurate to reality if it’s what you’re going for and it’ll look great. I recommend photoshop express to edit images, play around with it until it looks really good.

        The stars also shouldn’t be blurred, kind of takes away from the magic they give off. I recommend making your own star bg with no background by spreading a bunch of dots around, adding a glow color depending on the color of the atmosphere or just white. Make them really small too. You can make a galaxy in the sky too but that’s more complicated and I don’t wanna overflow you with knowledge.

        You can also make an atmosphere by using a square gradient, the bottom gradient being the color of the planet’s atmosphere and the top being a very dark color of the bottom gradient. Highly transparent as well.
