2022-06-19 05:31:00 UTC I think we have too many UC Voters. 69 seems like too many, it should be a bit more exclusive… that being said, I think the requirements should be set higher and some UC Voters should have their role stripped (Not fitting new requirements or inactivity to the website). Of course, it would be logical for a user to have it removed to receive notice of maybe a week or so, maybe so they could fit the new requirements or something, but still. 69 is a lot of UC Voters.

Maybe just remove the ones who haven’t been active for a while, because I know there’s a fair amount
that was the original intention, and the qualifications were raised back during the redesign
but too many people reached even that threshold now

Today I learned that moderators don’t get UC voting powers.
I got mine automatically ~16 hours after I got my admin.

That raises a question however on what should be removed, would it be people who don’t meet the higher requirements anymore?
What about those who did these for the streak? But then it would come down to people who don’t vote that often, yet that won’t matter much since the cause for too many UCs is those who are constantly active.
It’s a bit weird thought process. Might come down to actually entirely redesigning how UCs work.
