Yeah, it’s actually Spanish for gator, and kinda pronounced the same way.
Reminds me of how I came up with Korekatsu’s Name
If you didn’t know, the name of Korekatsu was made the same way Godzilla’s name was formed. Gojira is a mixture of Gorilla (ゴリラ Gorira) and Whale (鯨 Kujira).
Korekatsu’s name is supposed to be a mixture of Ever (これまで Kore made) and lower cased life (生活 Seikatsu) Kore-Katsu = Korekatsu.
It’s using Google Translate so It’s not ENTIRELY legitimate japanese lol
