Practical tutorial: Telescopic effect (Part 1/2)

This trick allow you to make retractable object with smart-stretch.

-The green segment is the control node, it’s non-static and smart-stretch.
-The blue segments must be static.
-The orange segment must be static and in “Do not smart-stretch” mode same as the gray panels.
(All red segment are only here for exemple’s lisibility, and are not necessary to make it work.)

-Default state retracted:
Green, blue and orange segments must be half the length of the gray panels.

-Default state extended:
Orange segments must be half the length of the panels.
Green and blue segment must be 1,5X the length of the panels.

You can use this to make telescope or retractable door like in this example:
