SplashScreen and Sprite Update News, Again + SNN Ideas

After weeks of entries being submitted (700+ submissions), the form has been closed, and almost 95% of them are going to be rejected due to it being stated earlier that only about 50 submissions are going to make it in. However, we’ll just have to wait until the update comes out to see who won. Speaking of the next update-

Recently, Ralph put out another sneak peek of the sprite update, which demonstrates the new feature to read Minecraft skins and turn them into sprites, but now you can change the perspective, which allows for more flexibility when using them.

That’s all for now, no drama has occurred in a while so that’s definitely a win for the community, anyways I’ll probably create more sections to have more to talk about.(Aka, trying to keep this group from dying)

Actually, I should list some of the ideas that I’ve had for SNN, not that some of them will happen but I’ll just leave a few.

Unnamed Stickfigure Section: I’ve noticed that previously, talking about stickfigures (which is basically what this site is for) is a pretty good section to have, like the top figures of the month or something like Stock Nodes or Lucky’s posts about stickfigures (which were good ideas). So why not try and do that, but instead of being one huge post it’s just a small section for those interested?

Satirical News: I tried this twice, the first short report about Gigan’s clown group, and the lovers quarrel thing with Gigan and that LongJohn guy a while back. But I think trying to make less serious reports would be fun.

SNN Email: Funny thing I had an idea for a while back that I discussed in the Alt SNN group about how people could send stuff to be featured for the honorable mentions column, but I thought that would just be lame. Then a little while after I came up with the idea of having people asking stick nodes or SNN-related questions or giving their opinions on stuff, and in every article, I would address like 2 or 3 comments with its own section and stuff. Idk tho it’ll probably fail due to it being dependent on people actually sending stuff.

Interviews(?): Idk why I had this on my “SNN Idea List” but I think there was going to be a thing where someone was going to be interviewed about the current going-ons and how they feel about it, like a podcast or something, but idk what I was originally thinking, however it does sound a bit eh.

Anyways that’s all the ideas for now, some feedback would be cool, but now I realize I should’ve made a separate post for this last part, whatever, time to go back to waiting for stuff to talk about.
