Wow, another year on the site.. 1461 days here, four years.

I haven’t got anything too crazy and out there to add as I’m sure we’ve heard it all plenty by now:

– Site is bad at times but good because of each other
– Has shaped aspects of us as people
– Seen improvements in skill
– Been happier since

This year in particular I won’t lie, has been okay. Nothing really stands out to me but I feel that a lot of the bonds I’ve had with different users feels stronger, a lot more established, not only for that but also our skills. Each users work is becoming more and more established and we have a greater appreciation for it.

As we are also getting older a lot of us are moving on more from Stick Nodes etc and putting our efforts elsewhere, it will always be like that and likely many of us will be traded in for a new generation of users with perhaps a few left and occasionally visiting.

I can’t say what might come next for the generation of users I’ve known, maybe it will truly fissile out but who knows, maybe we’ll make a comeback this year. If this were to be the final year on site for many then I just want to say a big thanks to all friends and allies that I’ve known since joining, it’s been a real pleasure working and speaking with you all and I wish everyone the best in their lives, so many of you have some genuinely impressive talent the likes of which could take you so far. I just wish well for each and everyone of you who are deserving and may this next year be a good one..
