holy shit i played this on an old ds game.
I never even knew it was a real thing in the first place
This is older than most people on the site
this is my favorite board game
fun but very strategic (hence the name) game with simple rules:
– hit your opponents piece, and if your piece is more powerful (lower number rank) you win the piece, if ranked the same both die
(you don’t know what your opponents piece is until you hit it and it is revealed)
– find and touch the opponents hidden “flag” piece to win, it is usually surrounded by bombs
– the miner can take out bombs
– the scout (least powerful piece) can move many tiles per turn
– the spy is the only piece that could kill the opponents #1-rank piece, it can’t kill anything else
i wanted to try to make an AI version of this game as an app a while back
I’m gonna do tons of research so I can beat you in this game and brag about It to everyone who don’t actually give a fuck
