Question of the day:Do you have any weird genetic attributes or abilities?
For example you might have double jointed thumbs or can bend your finger back far or you might have vitiligo.

Oh yes, finally I can show off that I can pull my thumb back to touching my wrists. Only my right thumb though, left thumb can bend back far but not as far as my right. For 9 months and 13 years I thought this was a normal thing until one of my friends told me about how I was able to bend my thumb far back. I literally was shocked that people weren’t actually able to do this. And that’s about it, I could also move my ear back and fourth but yeah
I am a male that can put my foot behind my head. I used to be able to do both.
I could do that myself as a kid, at one point without even using my hands. It became my sort of stund I did as dumb as I was back in the day.
My mom keeps laughing that one time I tried to show it off at a beach to a friend. Wave swept in, I gloriously collapsed backwards with my legs still behind my head, awkwardly drowning. Needless to say two people were in tears that day.
Hhfhgahg my ears hurt all the time
That sounds more like a health issue then a genetic ability bro
What?
Just in case you didn’t know yet I still like biscuits
Thank you for telling me, I thought by now you disliked biscuits. I was worried for a little there
I had no idea 😁
Do you eat lemons?
Tell us your cannibalistic secrets, my dear lemon. let me bathe in your juices as I lick your soft textured skin. Mmmmmmmmmm 🤤
Where did that come from
Honestly I don’t fucking know.
Help
My fingers on my left hand can go all the way back and almost touch my wrist. It’s really weird but useful for measuring angles lol
I have low pain tolerance, but for some reason my body will keep going regardless of how much it’s hurt.
I don’t have much to offer other than that however recently my mother gave me eczema genetically which is more of a health problem. Dramatically, my body is also breaking out and I have like over 50 bumps on my arm. My body as of now looks like what you’d see in those try not to look away videos.
this explains a lot
From what I understand taking baths with some kind of bath salts, staying moisturised with cream can help and I think some foods too can help with the inflammation and such.
This would go without saying but I’ll say it anyway, I’m not a doctor so I could be wrong.
Bit unsure if this counts, but
Caffeine. It doesn’t effect me a single tiny bit.
Which is weird to my family apparently, you could give me any amount of tea or coffee or energy drinks and it’ll do nothing for me. Sometimes it has the reverse effect, drinking hot coffee in the morning makes me tired, probably because me drinking something warm while I’m tired makes me even more tired (which is the reason I exclusively drink iced coffee/tea.)
I looked into it a bit and apparently it has something to do with how fast/slow your body digests stuff, but it still confuses me I guess.
Double jointed thumb
And gey
cocaine
I’m a dumbass along with my family, does that count?
I guess
I can triple fold my tongue
Thats about it
Interesting~
My big toe is smaller than the one next to it, apparently that’s something only 10% of people have (including the status of liberty)
I also have a double jointed thumb and anesthesia didn’t effect me, pretty sure that’s it
This isn’t really a genetic thing but I have one of those faces people ‘like to dump emotional baggage on. It’s both a blessing and a curse’
Central Heterochromia,
I think it’s genetic idk.
Not as interesting as some of the other ones here, but I thought I’ll share it.
