Alright, day 3 of nightly vr news, you know the drill.
The previously mentioned Vive XR Elite was confirmed to be $1,099, and started preorders. If you preorder now you get 5 popular titles bundled with it, however those titles I could not find the names of. It has a combined 3840 x 1920 resolution.
A company known as Rendever, which focuses on creating vr experiences for the elderly to make those of them who are lonely feel less lonely, just acquired Alcove, a family social meet up platform. The links to their sites below

Razor just announced their Quest 2 Headstrap and facial interface. It is said to be made out of a high-performance nylon material to ensure quality weight distribution, a soft strap, and a slip on design. It is also said to block light while still allowing ventilation, and will supposedly eliminate facial pressure. It is also adjustable.
Here is a quote from them in a press statement
“Designed for long-lasting comfort and weight-balanced support, the Razer Adjustable Head Strap System was created with all head shapes in mind. The high-performance nylon material provides reliability, comfort, and durability while the optimized weight distribution allows for more balance during active gameplay. The soft adjustable straps will help gamers find their perfect fit and quick slip-on design ensures little interruption in resuming gameplay”
There’s a lot of promise in this head strap, but the one thing I’m not looking forward too is the price.
The platform known as Wave, known for hosting digital concerts, just partnered up with Pico despite ending their vr concerts a few years back. The concerts will be available on the Pico Neo 3 and the new quest competitor, the Pico Neo 4. Just note that these concerts will not be available in the US, and instead take place in Europe and Asia. (Unless you have one of these headsets in the US, I’m not too sure if it would work if you had it imported here)
Its debut concert is set to feature The Calvin Harris Experience, taking place on January 13th at 8:00PM GMT. It will last around an hour, with its contents being a five-minute preshow and 25 minutes exclusive extended set. (I don’t know what the latter is, however, it is included)
To join this concert, you need to download the Pico Video app from the headsets App Store, and choose the Calvin Harris experience in your video feed on the day of the concert.
Rebroadcasts will re-air daily on weekends starting Jan 14-26 at 8pm GMT.
On the Steam Hardware Survey, Windows Mixed reality was the fastest growing headset type in December, this is due to the HP Reverb G2 getting steel discounts. This is the first time this has happened in years. (Referring to Windows MR topic)
Not much news, sorry guys. This took a while to make do I hope you find this helpful. So goodbye, and goodnight!
