The Krillfin are one of the oldest evidence of early life on the planet and were a vital part of the early ecosystem. They are a small, shrimp-like creature with a streamlined body and multiple pairs of legs that have evolved to be efficient swimmers. Krillfin have a hard exoskeleton that protects their soft bodies and is shed periodically to allow for growth. They have two compound eyes that provide excellent vision in the water, and are able to detect movement and light patterns that are invisible to other aquatic creatures. Krillfin fed on a variety of small plants and animals in the water, including plankton, algae, and other microscopic organisms. They were an important source of food for many larger aquatic creatures, including Jellypods and Fintufts, and played a critical role in the early ocean’s food chain.
They are also believed to be first aquatic creature to evolve to be semi-aquatic and eventually transition to land, launching Searia into a new era of life on land.
