I’ve come from traditional and vector animation. so I’ve been evaluating the techniques and also studying muskee winteraces style for sticknode references of what in trying to achieve. it seems from the tools available its going to be layering as the hardship i’d be undertaking. most the limbs would be different sticks themselves… that or just use sprites but lose the lossless of the vectors
I’d say with making any character in SN ask yourself these things:
1. How much of your style would you want to show in this design if it even be your style you choose to use at all.
2. What are the moving parts, you can usually also judge this based on the types of animations they’re in.
3. Angling, shading and lighting
4. How many nodes would it likely take
