I installed Spiderman Remastered for PC so I could know the story by the time the new game comes out, great game. Though I wanted the symbiote suit and WOS swinging (since I didn’t really like the base game swinging as much) so I installed some symbiote tendril mods, symbiote combat mods, and a WOS mods that adds the web strike from that game to this game, as well as the swinging physics. Also installed the WOS symbiote suit. The game feels a lot more fun with these mods. Oh yeah I also installed some more combat mods (not related to the symbiote) and a difficulty mod. Also got it working with my DualSense controller so I could experience it like I would on the PS5 (I didn’t really like the keyboard controls and I like the haptics of the DualSense. I turned off adaptive triggers though since they are horrible in this game, they are only utilized in swinging and all it does is make the triggers slightly squishy 90% into the press)

I also installed Spiderman WOS on my pc and got it working with the DualSense via Steam Input or whatever their program is called

        Sorry, Spider-Man: Web of Shadows

It came out before I was born (by one year) so I wouldn’t know much about it either if my older brother didn’t get it for his Birthday

Basically it’s where Venom starts taking over the city, and during a fight with him in the beginning of the game a part of the symbiote latches onto you, and you could switch between that suit and the classic red and blue suit. Each have their own unlockable abilities (The classic suit makes you feel like you’re in anime, as you have what is basically a hadouken but with webs, as well as the combos being akin to something in an anime, like a punch tornado. The symbiote makes you feel like Alex Mercer from prototype, with the symbiote shaping into different weapons such as giant axes that destroy everything in its path). Known for having great swinging mechanics, popularly regarded as the best (if skilled enough and fully leveled up, you could move so fast that you can get across the entire softy in a mere 10 – 30 seconds, or move so fast that the game doesn’t even load in the area you reach).

If you have the means of playing it (to get it on pc I followed this Reddit post. Not for sale on pc anymore so the only legal way to get it would be to buy a disc on eBay for the desired console, though only the Wii, Xbox 360, and PS3 have the 3D version that has all the things I said above in it. The other versions are 2D versions that, while good, don’t quite meet the quality of the main game.)

Forgot to say, your ending is based on the choices you make in the game. There are good choices and bad choices, which determines the ending and the fate of the symbiote at the end of the game)

You could also kill civilians by throwing cars at them as the Black Suit. It’s what I spent most of my time doing. Sometimes they survive and they beg you to take them to a hospital, but you could just ignore them and let them die. The giant tendril axes as the black suit may also hurt or kill them but I forgot

Actually sounds neat. Not even really a spider-man fan but I’m a little interested

Ok, the game is kinda dated though so don’t except cutting edge graphics or controls

Using a controller is recommended though KB&M is good too

I mean I’ve played old ass games before. Ever heard of the game Pacific Storm: Allies? It’s a 2007 real-time strategy about Naval Combat in the Pacific during WW2. And it’s for sure not cutting edge in any way (not even sure if it was at release.)

It’s pretty neat though and was a nice little game that I got really cheap so I’m not gonna complain much.

                  Oh, alright.

But yeah old games are great. Of course there were always bad old games but typically they’re actually pretty nice since the developers used to care a lot more even in the “bigger” titles.

Oh yeah, it’s also known for the freedom you have in combat. You could fight on the ground, in the air, or on a wall. Each are fleshed out

It also has a variety of characters from across the marvel universe like Luke Cage, Moonknight, Wolverine (there’s even a boss fight against him), Black Cat, and more

You also have a lot of freedom when it comes to combos. It’s not just preset combos, but you could create your own combos by combining the different abilities (they each have their own button binds so you don’t just spam a single button, though that’s an option too) and switching suits mid combo to allow for the other suit’s abilities.
