A few days ago, I thought of a new SN feature for no reason. Idk if anyone has already thought it up or not, but here it is.Stickfigure divisions.
You’d be able to detach non-static node branches from a full figure without the need of making multiple figs. This could help with stuff like easy layering with simplistic figs, advanced layering for dramatic poses, and dismemberment.
Then we could pop off heads without the back-and-forth process.

Idk about you guys, but forearms, thighs, and shins don’t feel like they are worth their own separate files.
It’s like making a gahdamn Lego set to get a good pose going.
Would make life so much easier, holy shit
Mhm
That’s actually a pretty cool idea. If you could edit the separate segments like normally, you could change the arms with different angles of it’s a 360 figure. And a lot more creative ideas. Like, let’s say there’s a scene where a robot or something gets his arm sliced off. It would make it a bit easier, if I’m not mistaken.
Wayyyy easier
Now is when Ralph says “NOstradamus”
This is what I’ve always wanted
But Ralph always says no to these sadly, even if it it useful (I think he’s just lazy)
Though in all seriousness this is a great idea, hope Ralph considers it
Ooo I don know if you want him to see you talk like that about em.
everyone here acting like nobody asked before to be able to “separate the arm from my stickfigure pls” like 100 times in the past lmao
anyway, its obviously a useful thing but the logistics behind how it’d work would be a bit nightmarish to deal with without redoing a lot of how SN handles objects – not completely saying no but its just not on the radar rn
Aight
