Just because the object is made out of GLASS doesnt mean its a GLASS of water, that’s like calling a cup made out of plastic a plastic of water, if its shaped like a ‘Cup’ then its a cup.

water cant become wet
basically,
wetness arises when a liquid and a solid surface interact, or in other words, wetness is a property that occurs when water or another liquid comes into contact with a solid object
water cant become wet because its not coming in contact with itself, i think its moreso merging with itself and becoming more water, not wet water
