        i dont even know who is that but, need gradients, and damn too much nodes for that, u do the siluete with small nodes and then u fill it right? bad bad

            You have to learn how to apply them, they are useful for showing depth and and light.

              Gradients as a light source I could see if you reduce the transparency but for base armor they should be optional ad ons

                Without them the final product will have a more flat quality. Try using an elipse gradient with a lighter color to represent metallic qualities.
