2024-10-06 11:34:35 UTC so yeah last nights post was satire. i know a lot of you already figured that out but, theres a few who didnt who need to have it cleared up. for the record, mellow and i are a couple, and i would never date a misogynist. mellow and i had been talking about satire, alpha male podcasts, and i was bored so we decided to basically make a satirical circlejerk to see how many people would beleieve me, despite there being a lot of missing evidence and some things thay were just flat out obvious jokes. i had gigan join in after to help make it funnier, and they definitely did, i had a lot of laughs. anyway.

While I feel sorry for the people that was caught off guard and believed it, please. Next time, don’t even think about this so publicly cause it’s gonna lead to an outrage, already seen so with python, whom received an amount of backlash that’s unimaginable after saying “women ☕️”. For he did not know the meaning and I helped him understand, but this case is different

fair enough, the satire was being made at those kinds of people whoch is exactly why we set up our questions & responses the way we did, even if some of them were kinda obviously a joke, like the first response. it was consensual we did both realize itd lead to backlash, and kinda welcomed it cuz thatd be pretty funny (to me anyway) and i planned to smooth it over as elaborately as i needed to. naturally, not everyone will take to the satire the same way, and that was again kinda the point, to see how people would react, while being a circlejerk for us, it was also something of a semi experiment, as i said i did want to see just how easy itd be for people to believe me. in any case, your criticism is fair, and im sorry for any potential distress you yourself may have had due to it.
At the end of the day you can’t expect sticknodes users to get social cues, they are sticknodes users for a reason 🤣
