🌅 John Brown's Day 🌅
Just on this same day, 165 years ago, 2 months after his raid on Harper’s Ferry, At 11:00 a.m John Brown, sitting on his coffin in a furniture wagon, rode from the county jail through a crowd of 2,000 soldiers to a small field a few blocks away, where the gallows were.
Brown was hanged at 11:15 a.m, and was pronounced dead at 11: 50 a.m by the coroner.
While John Brown’s efforts to end slavery, and incite a slave rebellion were a tremendous fail, his role as a martyred hero, and a symbol for all the abolishionists, finally pushed the Union Army to finally listen to the abolishonists and kickstart the Civil War, a war which not only brought freedom to over 2 Million enslaved black men and women in the United States Of America, but also helped to extinguish the practice of slavery all around the world.

What exactly can i say about this series? it’s fucking great, not only does it depict Jonn Brown as the crazy, righteous man he was, but also tells the tales of Bleedin’ Kansas in an extremely entretaining manner.
Please folks, even if you’re not a Civil War aficionate like me, give this show a watch, i promise it’s worth your time.

I John Brown am now quite certain that the crimes of this guilty land will never be purged away, but with Blood. I had as I now think vainly flattered myself that without very much bloodshed. it might be done.
