In the popular scifi-western show WESTWORLD.
Ed Harris’s charachter, The Man In Black, carries a Lemat Revolver as his sidearm during the entire 6 seasons of the show.
However, before filming for the started, after getting some practice shooting a genuine Blackpowder Lemat revolver, Harris complained that the hammer was too heavy, and fast or continous shooting would be extremely tiring, therefore, for rapid fire scenes, the production armorer team decided to Frankenstein him a revolver out of a Ruger New Vaquero, with a fake Lemat foreend, making an extremely cursed firearm.
