I don’t go for super fast paced because it looks very unnatural. Other people go for animations that are fast paced, while I go for slower and more realistic.

I know but I like mine fast and kinda smooth i don’t like it to be too smooth because then it’s slow and if it slow it’s boring to me (no offense to animation) but if it’s to fast then u can’t tell wtf is going on

You are right to think so.
I follow this same rule as i like to show an amount of reality to my work, it increases the tension in fight scenes by a lot or even in a simple travelling section as you know that if they’re jumped by something, they can’t just Sonic the Hedgehog out of there, they have to either run like a pu*sy or stand and fight.

I think like that. I simply prefer having my animations a little slower instead of having a fast paced fight scene like this were they are at the point were they aren’t even human.

We are so alike. The second i see the first punch, i always scroll through the video, count how long the fight is and usually equate to a 8/10 to 9/10 ratio every damn time
Theres no build up to the punch as build up to punches in real life doesn’t make a punch stronger. Only if you are fighting south paw and bring your fist back to accelerate the punch more.
Replying to:not لටʂǶUmmm yeah, when you bring your arm back it usually is strong
The kick is supposed to be slower. Trust me, I’ve tried throwing a really fast kick. You end up hurting yourself more instead of your opponent. And I said, moving your arm back doesn’t increase the power of your punch unless you’re fighting southpaw. So it doesn’t really do much though it can increase power. But not enough that anyone finds use of doing it to make their punches slower but somewhat harder. Not by much though. Bringing your arm back is not good for quick punches, it’s hard on muscles like the biceps. It’s irritating to punch like that so much that you’re likely will weakening your punch.
Like a ninja in the moon
I spent 5 seconds trying to comprehend this. I’m not sure how this is meant to be interpreted.

Why so slow tho

2) this animation was enjoyable than most of Son Goku Anim’s vids…
Oh who am i kidding, it’s better than ALL of his
Not kidding, I got through this entire video while I can hardly get through 3 seconds of a Son Goku animation.

I do that too much in his videos so I think I’m just not gonna even attempt on watching him.

I stopped caring about those kinds of users a long time ago
Same. I love it when I come across people with unique SN animations though.

Lol. You make a post on imgur just for me? I feel special.
Very smooth, very slow
^might just be the gif acting stupid
Also there no buildup to first two punches

Ummm yeah, when you bring your arm back it usually is stronger. your torso twists more, putting more force into a punch.
Besides that, his punches are super fast, and then his kick is like he’s in slow motion

For the first time in forever…
Well I’ve done it before. Just not much.
Way too slow but smooth
I’m not going for a fast paste anime battle. I’m going for realistic punches and kicks.
