If we ever have more active users on the site and in general, I think it wise to invest in a system of sorts that allows for more of a process to suppress certain concerning individuals. We could have a vote system on a ban that could be created by a moderator, once enough people vote, something can happen and the details can be approved however they need to, in order to get the user banned.
You might argue that we could exploit this system, but if mods are trusted than that mitigates it reasonably I feel, not to mention mods would create the appeal to begin with. Waiting for an admin to return can mean hours of spam posts or whatever else and I think it would make the whole banning process way less stressful.

If it happens to be a thing of mods not being online, well I’m online nearly everyday and we can always hire more trusted individuals as mods as time goes by.
A voting ban system? That does sound helpful
I think even a soft ban that can like , stop someone from commenting or put a extreme cooldown on someone , would be useful for mods
I said it as a joke with challas but seriously , the mods are cool level headed people that can make good calls
But yall are given nothing to work with 😭
would be useful for mods
yeah, us too.
could you imagine how much easier the Ficto or Moron situation wouldve been if they were automatically muted for a week?
