There's No Ignoring ThisWriter/Director/Actor Rob Reiner, and his wife Michele Singer, have died in an apparent homicide.
Reiner was most famous for his directorial works, most notably This Is Spinal Tap (1984), Stand By Me (1986), The Princess Bride (1987), A Few Good Men (1992), and so many more.
He is undoubtedly a household name in the film industry, and a personal hero of mine.
Their son is in custody following the murder, as he has had past struggles (in and out of rehab for a long time). But that is not why I am making this post.
For a while before his death, Reiner (and his wife) had been working on an exposé/documentary on Trump and the current administration.
Obviously, that leads our current president to dislike Reiner, but this is just so much worse.
Donald J. Trump, who is somehow still in power following every fucking awful thing he’s done and said, posted this:This is a vile, horrible way to pay tribute to someone who, not only passed away, but was presumably murdered.
Their lives were taken, and all the president can think to do is insult them.
Rest in peace to the both of them, and I hope that their killer is caught, tried, and spends the rest of their life in prison.

In other words
The united states is a dictatorship now?
The idea of a leader of an entire country making a mockery post on Twitter about someone’s death is genuinely concerning, that the fate of so many peoples lives are being dictated by this same person.
Hopefully at least this is the wake up call the people desperately need on this piece of shit “President”
This is lowkey insane.
