It is a second camera as in a work camera. There are a bunch of these in different animating applications.
You can zoom in and select something and see what you’ve done. For example you change one end of the figure and then it looks like you were drunk while you were making an animation.

Never mind, the anticipation was killing me. You can zoom in to see better while seeing the results of the movements real time.
