That’s a game, you can’t use fictional material as evidence.
At no point in history was a sword ever made of this magnitude that wasn’t for ceremonial purposes only. The widest kinds of sword i can think of would be Executionor Swords but they’re only used in… Well, exectutions

Clearly you don’t understand all the circumstances at play here so I’ll explain.
Let’s say he has super strength then, to the point he could pick up even a mountain alright. So he picks up the sword and ‘THWONK’, he slams face first into the ground.
Why is this? Gravity.
Basically, because he’s not heavy enough, the centre of balance is moved to around where his hand is meaning that gravity is pulling unbeatably hard ahead of where he’s standing, slamming him into the ground no matter how hard he resists.
But you can’t just give him super-weight now just to solve this one problem because now you need lore reasons why and how he got his weight as well as the fact that it will make him much slower and will be much less combat-fit.
A better option is to go for something equally ‘cutty cutty’ by using a Falchion, a sword about as long as a Broadsword but with considerably more cutting power thanks to its shape.

alright then I think a halberd will do

There’s a reason i said Poleaxe and not Halberd.
Halberds are the long as f**k twin of the Poleaxe, designed for use in groups on a field rather than 1 v 1s unlike the Poleaxe.
well I did Envision him as sort of a Devil, so will a Trident do?

Trident would be neat

Attach a rope to it so he can throw it and quickly retrieve it.
As you can clearly see, it’s not a human wielding it, but a monster. Strength wouldn’t be an issue.
