@ralph Is this any good? Give me your honest opinion on my work.

    • well it’s not like I’m some animation god

but my opinion is it’s not bad
dude running seems he’s floating and has no weight to him though, needs more down/up on the run
run starts and ends abruptly, no easing at all
no follow through with final punch, arm just immediately goes into resting state

Thanks for replying. Yeah, I guess I did miss stuff like easing and follow-through, but keep in mind, this is my first non-tweened animation that isn’t complete sh*t.
Also, about your first statement. You’re much better at animating than I am, that’s why I asked. In fact, I think it’s kind of pathetic, knowing that I’ve had SN almost since its launch and my animating skills are still trash. At this point, I have no clue how I’ve managed to obtain 99 YouTube subs, but still. Even with tweening, I’m not that great.

Yeah, I know, I know. I’m guessing it’s because I’m trash at animating, despite having Sn almost since it was released.

          easing is not hard

          *especially* with “add tweened frame”

you can go into your project here
          go to frame 1
change it to add a single 10% tweened frame, add it

and boom, he eases into the run slightly

          (or do it manually)

            Okay, point taken there.

no seriously, go do it and just “see” what it means to do/have easing

note: automating it with “add tweened frame” isn’t always the way to go, it may appear too linear, but it will give you the idea

I’ve done it before, I just spaced it off, sometimes I forget animating tricks

How I’ve owned SN almost since it came out and I still animate like a rookie.
