I got some potential lore for Chakitau Kolomara, but for that to work I need to know, does shapeshifting technology exist in CD?

Technically.
Certain creatures expell pheromones to make the brain think something is something it isn’t
There’s also cloaking but that’s more like a hologram over your body
Is the cloaking convincing to most?

It’s picture perfect, but doesn’t work well looking like a living creature, better for pretending to be a rock
Ah.
What I had in mind was that basically, in the 1/1,000,000 chance he came across a human, he would shapeshift into a human under the name “Kanisto Pürat”, (nice job me) and trick them into giving him their valuables for “safekeeping”, and in reality, he would just steal them to sell on the black market, and if they refused, he would attempt to persuade them with (false) guarantees of their items being safe, until they refused all of those, and tased them unconscious and stole them himself.

Yeah, the rule is no humans remember
no human characters, just preparing for human encounters

Like i said. Cloaking to pretend to be a living being is highly unreliable.
Also, you can’t just scan something and be it. Somebody has to design a model for it, making things like living beings incredibly hard to make
yeah, i was stating my idea for if what i wanted was possible.
which practically, it isn’t and i knew that
can count on me for being the most cultured person around
(not really)
Not to take this out of the way
But why the f*ck did you disconnected out of roblox?
Note that he does do the above to certain other species, but not as frequently since very few of other races carry valuables of the same rarity or value of what you could get off of a human.
there’s no way that’s something you had already though of nah son you just came up with that to answer the question don’t lie
