I think alot more anticipation could help to add impact, as it feels less like “Wow he’s getting hit so hard he bounces!” and more like “Wow he’s getting slapped around in an anti-gravity chamber!” of course, unless you were going for this effect
You’re talking about the aesthetic part of animation, I’m talkin about actual animation. You could have a beautifully made character and have shtty animation (You) or have a simple character but the animation is gorgeous. Both are different and, what makes me mad is when everyone disses on a fcking test animation, it’s not supposed to be a Pixar like animation. So I’d like to see you guys animate something good instead of complaining about the complicity of the characters design.
You guys clearly know nothing about animation at all…
im getting an aneurysm from people who say absolute garbage like this
they misunderstood the “scarfies and simples are bad” argument
loled at ‘im getting an aneurysm’
i like it but i could use more smothness

I also think that some effects at the part where he spin attacks would help make it look lis choppy

only flipping a character horizontally doesn’t make for a very good spinning animation
try stretching the limbs if you’re keen on base figs, with some dash effects to go along with it.
