@ralph
I think this filter would be pretty useful
I like to call it the invisibility cloak
With this, stickfigures get invisible but it’s not like transparency effect
The area the stickfigure covers gets the stick figures at the back invisible, if you want something’s like backgrounds to not get invisible just make the box of do not make invisible
Here are some lazy examples of it

stop giving him more ideas
we need layers
Stop asking for layers
Go to flash
stop telling me that
I’m poor
There’s one thing I don’t like at all
And is when people don’t want me to do something that doesn’t harm anybody
So yeah that triggers me easily
to be fair the only way to really obtain flash in any 2010-onwards form is to pirate it or buy it
i don’t think people interested in a 2004 version
it’s way too expensive
also tell me more about this 2004 version
2004 version is free
I used to have lots of fun with it
I recommend it has enough tools for me
have you tried krita?
it’s a free art program but it has some support for animation
although flash should be good for simplistic stuff just putting a recommendation out there for more artsy animation if you’re interested in that
think adobe removed the need for a code to get access to it on like macromedia flash mx 2004
see this video
https://youtu.be/pXvZUqoNBNI
I saw on some adobe forum someone asking if this was legal
I’m pretty sure people said it wasn’t
might not have been this tho
never mind found the forum
https://forums.adobe.com/thread/2367795
definitely illegal
ah
i haven’t really looked into this very well since I’m not interested in flash
Lol use flash 8
my dude if adobe doesn’t want us using a 2004 version adobe is going to be hissing at us at 2khz for using a 2006 version
also you’ll still need a code for that
Nigguh I own flash 8 and I’m all good. I can send code if anyone needs
That could actually be useful
also now that I think about it, this could be useful for doorways
I’ve discussed with him similar thing. Which was adding textures. But that would require masking. And that’s too heavy for mobile phone to process that –
I don’t want masking
My idea is more like an eraser which doesn’t load any heavy textures
I’m trying to find a way to program it but for now I got nothing
Maybe using the same system of anti lag which disappears non visible nodes but this time disappears the area the stickfigure covers
I’ll check it out
The reason why it doesn’t lag during these cause it doesn’t need to process the raster and can simply have to use vector. With filters it needs to render vector and then turn into rasterized image that gets filtered. In vector there’s no such thing as eraser :v
I mean… There is but it doesn’t work like that. And it would make more things to render.
this is pretty neat but as arcionek already stole my thunder, it’s essentially masking, which Flash does
would be useful for *many* things, I used it all the time in Flash
waaay to CPU intense for SN (the app) – I say this because IF – IIIIFFFFF- SN PC happens, masking would be a thing
good example images tho
