@ralph oi m8, I’ve got an idea for the sounds section.
Don’t worry, I’m not asking for a Sounds page on the site (yet), this is within the app.
So you should know yourself that hte Sounds section is quite hard to traverse being as some effect sounds don’t even say effect beside them yet others do. Hence i have gave you 3 things that you should do to make Sounds great again:
1) Categorise sounds: so what is when you clicked on sounds you were given like 3 or 4 tabs. One for effects, one for voices and roars, one for branded (Undertale noises, DBZ Noises). This would make it easier to find specific sounds.
2) Female voices: now this ain’t for the sake of thinking it’s sexist for not having female voices but instead it’s annoying because all female characters have to be mute, don’t forget the main antagonist of the StickNodes movie is a woman (kind of hard to forget honestly).
3) more subtle noises: things like turning a door nob or placing a hand on a desk, things like a trouser zipper or a robotic limb moving. All these things are currently impossible due to the lack of more everyday noises, the closest we have is ‘Footstep soft’ but that won’t work for everything.Overall what I’m saying is that the sounds section is ripe for a MASSIVE overhaul, that which i would be thankful for as i rely on them due to IOS being anti-download and all.

Bro I got this gal on Discord gimme some lines and I’ll force her to read them.

I’ve heard the “category’ thing before, it’s not bad and I have to look into it
but as for all the sounds you suggest, I don’t know how to put this, but I’m not actively looking to add more sounds
as in, SN isn’t a sound-library app, it’s the same for the stickfigures that come with the app – they’re just there to get you started
at a certain point I have to stop adding more and more
don’t get me wrong I’ll add a few here and there if they’re funny/interesting/useful (like in the upcoming update, lots of cinematic sounds for scene changing etc…)
I know iOS sucks for adding sounds right now, but once I get that sorted out you’ll be able to download custom sounds too
the category/sorting thing to help find sounds already in the app is a good idea though, but dunno how to implement (how to let users categorize their sounds, without getting too user-interface crazy)

for the category thing you could simply swipe to the side to switch catagory
