I’m getting ready to make a horror animation involving the Wendigo, but I could use a little advice. Does anyone here know any good ways to make shadow effects, since this takes place at night? Specifically in a forest setting?

    • Do any very large node, (cranking it up to like 1000 thickness etc) then using opacity is how strong you want your shadow to be, do however much blur you want and you have a shadow.

I’ve had Pro pretty much the entire time I’ve been part of this community.

    • You could also copy and paste the wendigo every frame, after copy-pasting tint it black and use the opacity tool

Ooo, alright, thanks! That’s add some shadowy depth to some of the scenes, and help set a darker mood/tone.

    • That’s a great idea and sounds fun to animate
