Replying to:Vincentyes and the exact time of the download
exemple :
W.D.Gaster
The issue I see with that is that a lot of download data would be missing, as they most likely weren’t stored before. Plus it will require an algorithm to get the stats, as well as basically store all that data that will get significantly large over time with the increasing amount of sticks so like the servers will get filled with data of
time (data stored each day) * every stickfigure on site = clutter of information

Well that is definitely a bit of an stretch. Like record of what user download what and when seems like EVEN MORE work. But what @Ralph could do is sneak in meta data of author somewhere between the code for him (and those who decompile code) to see the original author. That could work that for example it stores previous stick names from edit (maybe to certain limit of 10).

well thing is too, if a stickfigure is so visually different that you need to rely on metadata to figure out the original author, it doesn’t really count as stealing anymore tho
also , could you add a block function or somethings like that ?
DL per stick appears on the page of the stick itself. Under download button. It even shows how many it got a week :oooo
Total downloads of all sticks appear on your profile.
And to the block suggestion, Ralph is looking for a plugin that would fit in. But it’s on the todo list.
no , someting that can tell THIS GUY dl X time this stfg at X/X/XX , Y/Y/YY and Z/Z/ZZ
Ah, so like statistics at X time how much it was downloaded?
yes and the exact time of the download
exemple :
W.D.Gaster as dowloaded CSS AWP (Prototype) 2 times : the 02/09/2018 and the 08/12/2018

I don’t think there’s download logs of each figure, just the number of times it was downloaded
I could add this record, but it would start recording now so all past downloads wouldn’t count
but not sure if I want too, that’s just gonna be a ton of data to store lol
I said that caus with that you could have a proof if somebody said that somebody took —‘s figur and édited it

Tho if you have like developer version to preview sticks then it could prevent stealing as you could do simple name search-
And you would see how heavily modified it gets.
this is true
this is a true statement
Ralph have you looked at the previous comments? If you haven’t then you should see my argument.
