Mate this needs to stop. The JoShtick stuff all needs to stop. He’s a spammer and a troll and he broke the rules so he got penalized, simple as that. I understand what you’re trying to say about ignoring the problem and whatnot, but you’ve literally stated before that the only way to get someone off the internet is through force. It’s your own word against you, of all things. And insulting Squido calling him a “coward” and whatnot just isn’t the right move here. Take a chill pill mate.

But when we literally have the ability to remove someone off the bat for breaking the rules, we should use it. If they come back, bam em again. They’ll get bored of making accounts faster than they will if we just ignore them.
And you’re not starving him of attention, it even looks like you’re saying he’s in the right and everyone who’s getting mad at him is doing it wrong! We’re not feeding him with negative entertainment, you’re feeding him with positive reinforcement.

If we REALLY followed your advice and just completely ignored him, he’d only continue. He doesn’t just enjoy the reactions, he enjoys spamming itself. And Ralph wouldn’t do anything about it specifically because we would be ignoring the situation and not talking about it.
If you’re a spamming troller, you should get banned. That’s it. And Ralph already did ban him for a week dude. He would certainly be able to permaban him and definitely would if he continued to spam after he returned.

Exactly! If he enjoys doing it, then he should be banned! The entire community should not be forced to block a single person because of their constant spam! And blocking itself only stops other people from seeing your posts anyway, it doesn’t stop you from seeing theirs.

It’s literally the better option in all cases here. We shouldn’t have to wait before he gets bored. The community doesn’t belong to him, he shouldn’t be allowed any control over it by determining how much spam there is until he “gets bored.”

Because WE are FORCED TO! It’s like going to a convention and a dude is in the middle of it with a megaphone spewing crap! But then instead of removing him, you’re saying “nah just ignore him, he’ll get bored.” That’s not how it works! If he’s disturbing everyone excessively like how he has been behaving, he should be removed! We are forced to interact with him because he participates in the community we participate in. He has broken the rules to a point of where a ban is acceptable and justified. WE do not need to interact with the troll or change anything about how the community functions to accommodate him breaking the rules. The only thing WE need to do to deal with that is ban the people who break the rules. And that way, we won’t ever have to worry about interacting with him again.
