    • I always prefer the higher poly style. The lower polygonal look in yours isn’t too noticable but I always prefere to have stuff look like a solid curve.

well the thing is not much people will actually make extreme closeup shots with especially at the magazine, so i drop some of the smoothness because it becomes less relevant if it is zoomed out (i also zoom out at 500% to see if the curves are noticable)

Sure it isn’t likely going to be seen but I know a lot of people who do close up shots of certain items and quite a few times their reloads. I make my figures now to really push SN on quality. In fact a lot of my figures push SN so much that thry almost require SN to move forward with them, they are built to push well beyond the just simple detail, but in a much better shape. These small details aren’t really too much now, but in future updates the gun is gonna tag along instead of become outdated like my older M4 model that was built to work just in a relaxed project of SN. The M4 I have today is meant for professional detail. That’s kinda were I avoid using the sharp edges made with using normal segments, those edges quickly become outdated.

Well we make figures for different kinds of devices, I make figures for low spec devices and you make figures for high spec devices. So simply I make guns for people who don’t have professional gear (people who have animating as a hobby) and you make figs for people with professional gear (people who are full-on animators) we both cater for different people, and our figures cater for different kinds of devices

Exactly. My focus isn’t exactly making stuff for only other people to use or anything. It’s mainly for myself if anything. I just share.
